Data forensics, also known as computer forensics or digital forensics is a branch of forensic science encompassing the recovery, investigation, examination and analysis of material found in digital devices, often in relation to mobile devices and computer crime. Data forensics can also be used in instances involving the tracking of phone calls, texts, or emails traveling through a network. Computer forensic evidence is held to the same standards as physical evidence in court. The digital forensics market was valued at $4,490 million in 2020 & expected to reach $8,210.5 million by 2026, registering a CAGR of 10.97%.
